Sleepless Nights Turn Up Some Amazing Finds...

#1: Twisted Lamb

I just finished watching Towelhead and I'm much too disturbed to sleep. In my search for peace of mind, I stumbled upon Twisted Lamb... and I have to say I'm in blog love.

Before I move on to samples of images on this blog, let me share with you the first entry.

Dear whoever you are,
Bless this blog
So it may writhe
Sick twisted fashion
That keeps us black sheep alive.
A-fucking-men

-Twisted Lamb

Seriously now. I wish I had known of this blog since day 1.

Now on to images...

If you like what you see, there are much much more where those came from. Please visit Twisted Lamb for more, I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

#2: Dinner In The Sky

I really don't really have anything else to say about this concept aside from "Where do I sign up!?" I think the pictures are pretty self explanatory. For the Vegas dinner, $199 will get you a gourmet dinner during sunset, with a view of the Las Vegas Strip. I believe this is offered in various countries including the US, Belgium, France and the UK. For more info please go to Dinner In The Sky

This Thanksgiving....

Aside from the obvious family and friends, I, Robyn aka Sweet Sacrilege, am thankful for... Mickey Rourke: and to be clear, both the hot young Mickey AND old bat shit crazy Mickey. Because, really... I can't resist a chihuahua loving, champagne straight from the bottle guzzling, ex hottie like Mickey. If you haven't seen the movie Spun, then you must. If not for Mickey, then do it for the green dog named Taco.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Oops

I completely forgot about these pictures I took, over 6 months ago, of some purchases I made while shopping in Long Beach. I only found recently found them whilst uploading pictures from the Three Apples: Hello Kitty Gothic Party at Royal/T.

so glad I nabbed these yellow python print lace up boots! I've gotten great use out of them!

And finally a non-corny Youtube video of my favorite song by the Distillers.

An Unusual Inspiration

Brassai yet again. I really cannot seem to get enough of this wonderful photographer..

I don't know what it is, but I look at this photo and feel completely drawn to this woman. Do you not just want to interrogate her and find out her life story? I know I do.

Apart from that, I'm also completely inspired by this picture. Such glamorous things on an seemingly unglamorous woman. Even in their tattered state, everything still seems as opulent and rich as ever.

On another note, it seems as though I'm not the only person inspired by this picture. I saw it briefly flash on the screen whilst watching The September Issue. I nearly squealed when I saw my favorite bag lady on the silver screen.

scanned by me.
